Aggressive Sound. If you're looking for plenty of sound with your S550 GT, this SLP Loudmouth Muffler Delete Axle-Back is a good option to consider. Because this system gets rid of the mufflers, it's plenty loud, especially for an axle-back. Instead of rasp, it produces a throaty and deep sound that really plays up the aggressive nature of your car. If you were to install other exhaust components later, this setup could become far louder, if that's what you're looking to do. Again, this axle-back only fits on 2015 to 2017 Ford Mustang GT models. Solid Construction. You get great quality, with a 409 stainless steel construction for this system. The tubing measures 2.5 inches and features mandrel bends. As for the tips, they're made of 304 stainless steel, have a 4-inch diameter and a polished finish. Overall, this system is 29 pounds lighter than the stock setup, which helps with performance. Straightforward Installation. To get this axle-back on your Mustang, you'll need to cut the stock exhaust in two locations, then clamp this into place. For that reason, it's a moderately difficult job. You'll need a cutting blade, sockets, wrenches, and other basic tools to do everything. Plan on this taking you at most one hour.
